I'm a copy cat!

I'm not very creative, so I just look through our blog or through galleries to get ideas for layouts. This is a page I am re-doing for Carter's book and I completly copied Arlyn, although I made a few very minor changes. My kids are both sick today (throwing-up), so while they sleep I'm scrapbooking. It's my mental vacation, because they are Extremely grouchy today! Anyway here is the page:

I am going through all the pages I have done for Carter's first year, which is what I started all my digital scrapbooking on. I found one of the first pages I did, and well, I"ll just let you take a look. I'm rather embarassed to show it to you. I redid it and even though I know it's not the best page, it certainly looks better than the old one!!

I did this for a challenge at Scrap Orchard. I made one and then realized I hadn't quite followed the instructions and had to change it a bit. Which one do you like the best? I'm trying to decide which one to keep in my 2008 collection. Find the credits for the LO here.

I finally did a page!!

Well, two pages actually! This is Hayden's second b-day! Do you know what that means? It means I am done with Hayden's second year(mostly)!! Anyway the kit is from a download a day called Boytime. One of the pages was going to be for a challenge at the Orchard, but it didn't turn out the way I liked so I'm not even goiong to submitt it for the challenge. I'm doing another page for that challenge. Anyway here it is:

I did this LO in response to this week's challenge at Sunshine Studios. It was a pretty fast one this time. Yahoo! I like fast!

The kit is "Autumn Sunset" from mgl Scraps and the fonts are Magnet C & Remsta.

I made a new kit freebie!

I decided to finally finish a kit that I started quite a while ago. I've offered it as a freebie on my blog (digiscraptemplates.blogspot.com) if your interested in it. Here is a preview of the kit and also a layout that I made using it! That hair that Kaylee cut a year ago still has not completely grown out - I can't put her hair into a ponytail without it sticking out!!!!! :)
