I had so much fun making these layouts! They aren't done for anything in particular, but I just loved using this kit. Soooo much fun and with soooo many neat things in it. Anyway, I thought that one or two would be fun to print out and frame - any suggestions on which one?

Thanksgiving pics

These are some layouts that I made from some pics we took at the beach near Seattle for Thanksgiving. I posted these on my website as well, so Kristy gets to see them again!!! Anyway, we had a great time! Hopefully I'll get some pages done of our trip to the zoo soon!

Calendar Time!

Here it is...time for making calendar pages! Guess what month this is for!? ;)

Look what I can do.....

I was playing around with Photoshop today and finally figured out how to make the shadows 'warp' to look like the paper is curled up a bit. This was my first attempt, so it's not great yet. Anyway, I'll keep working on it and let me know if you would like me to write up anything to post on the blog on how I did it. I don't know if I did it the way it's supposed to be done or not, but it seemed to work.

Anyway, here's my final product. The page isn't one that I'm actually going to use, just thought I would do something with it to show the shadow.....

I finally got another page done! It is simple but I really like it. I scraplifted it from another page I saw somewhere.....

A bit of what I've been doing.

I HAVE been scrapping. Some of it is for the CT (I was given one more month to play); most are for challenges. Here they are - in no particular order.

So you see that I have been doing things. I was just saving them up to post once instead of flooding the blog. There are some others, but maybe you can just see them at the two websites I gave links for. (If you want.)

How to Make a Brush in PS7

This is how I made my name brush for my photographs.

I have had some questions on how to make it so here is the info.....

Making your brush:

Make something.....

1. Open your file in Photoshop.

2. Select Edit, Define Brush Preset.

3. Type in a name for your new brush.

4. Hit OK.

Now it will be the last brush in your list of brushes. You can change the color and size of it the same as the other brushes.

I have been out of town for a week and listening to Conference this weekend. I AM here, but no time to update my blog right now. I made all these pictures this afternoon/evening. We're making a photo book for Chad's brother who is serving his 2nd or 3rd? tour in Iraq. We have to mail it to his sister this week so she can mail it this weekend for Christmas! Talk about planning ahead! Anyway...just a peek at where I've been. I'll have more time in the next day or two!

Can you believe that they just announced another new version of photoshop! I am still using PS7 and they just announced Photoshop CS4! I am so behind! CS2! CS3! I just thought it was crazy!

Adobe Lightroom

I downloaded a trial of Lightroom. It is cool! But there is a lot to learn. I hope to learn and play enough with it in the 30 days that I have it. Here is what I did with it today. I will do a lot more tomarrow. Amy and I went on a photo shoot today with our kids.

I'm finally posting!!!

Here are a couple of the pages that I have done recently. I've actually been scrapping quite a bit lately, but I just got Photoshop put onto my laptop and I don't have wireless internet hooked up at home, so I can't post them very easy. Only if I happen to be at school - like now! I've been having a lot of fun with my new Photoshop. Guy was able to find me a steal of a deal for Photoshop CS3 and I'm loving it!!! Now I just need to transfer over all my pictures and scrapbook stuff! That will take me hours! Anyway, Arlyn, I've been doing a little bit of the QP thing, if we are still doing that. Let me know!
